Creators discovered this through experimentation and then refined their disclosure practices to maximise engagement. Disclosure became patterned. The pattern became recognisable. The recognisability did not reduce its effectiveness.

Algorithms that reward engagement without evaluating authenticity cannot distinguish between genuine disclosure and performed disclosure. Both receive the same signal. Once creators discovered this, performed disclosure developed conventions, a posting schedule, and a professional vocabulary.

Vulnerability that exists primarily as a publishing format, divorced from the experience it describes. The phrase "I'm sharing this because someone needs to hear it" attached to a product launch.

The format is permanent. The industrial scale will increase as competition for emotional engagement intensifies.
